Armies of Exigo is set in the fantasy genre and features combat both above and below ground, at the same time. Ah, the Punisher. Technically, the Punisher is more of an anti-hero than a true superhero. Still, The Punisher is such an awesome game, I'd be a fool to leave it off my list. This was the Punisher game we'd been waiting for (I liked the arcade beat-em-up with Nick Fury too but c'mon....). The game follows the Welcome Back, Frank story-line found in the comics with good ole Frank Castle killing off bad guys left and right while trying to take down his arch baddy Jigsaw. The game is a combo of action and exploration and hardcore killing. This game plays similar to Manhunt. When you come across certain enemies, you can do one of two things: perform a violent and gruesome one-button kill depending upon your current location and aggression level OR you can interrogate the enemy to gain valuable information. There's nothing quite like sticking someone into a wood chipper to get that piece of information. Don't worry though; there are plenty of guns and knives to use for everyone else. Bloody, violent, unforgiving, The Punisher is a must own game for any superhero game fan.

Battle Rage


Battle Rage is the third person shooter with elements of the beat’em up game that allows a player to control giant robots. Battles between the robots take place on carefully selected battlegrounds (so called “arenas�) and they are short, quick, brutal skirmishes. The player can fight alone (versus one, two or even three opponents) or in the team with one sidekick. Every machine has it’s own weapons (for melee and distance combat), additional weapon types can be collected on the arena.
